Give up confrontational path: Vakil to employees
Srinagar May 9: Member AICC and senior Congress leader Abdul Gani Vakil on Wednesday urged the government employees to give up confrontational path.
Talking to a delegation of Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) led by Farooq Ahmad Wangnoo, that called on him here this morning, he said, “Employees should get their problems solved through a dialogue.”
He urged the government not to adopt the confrontational attitude with the employees.
A spokesman of INTUC said the delegation apprised Vakil about the demands of the employees and stressed on him to apprise the State Government about the present situation created by the demonstration of employees. “It has brought the work in various government departments to standstill causing lot of inconvenience to the people,” he added.
