3 die,3 injured in accidents

Srinagar, May 10: Three persons died and three others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley, police said on Thursday.
A police spokesman said bus bearing (No. JK01/0611) hit a pedestrian Abdul Gani Rah son of Jamal of Chanapora Srinagar at main Bazar, Awantipora, resulting in his on the spot death.
In another road accident, a truck without number hit and injured a girl Dilshada daughter of Muhammad Iqbal of Kalakote Rajouri, at present Nowgam near Railway Crossing Nowgam, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to SMHS where she succumbed.
In another road accident a Maruti Car (No. JK09/2016) coming from Shrant towards Khurhama driven by Manzoor Ahmed Mir son of Abdul Samad of Khurhama skidded off the road and rolled down, resulting in injuries to the driver and other person Mushtaq Ahmad Khatana son of Shams-ud-din of Shrant. Both the injured were shifted to a hospital where Manzoor Ahmed succumbed to his injuries.
In another road accident, a Quails vehicle (No. JK01F/1607) driven by Irfan Ahmed Pandoo son of Abdul Hamid of Soura on way to Awantipora from Srinagar, hit and injured a labour Muzamil Ahmed Rather age 22 years son of Ghulam Hassan of Chandhora, working with National Highway Authority of India at Galander Chowk, Awantipora in south Kashmir. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A tipper, (No. JK09/4962) hit and injured a pedestrian Javid Ahmed Ganie son of Nazir Ahmed of Zehanpora. The injured was shifted district hospital Baramulla for treatment.
