AIIMS Prof delivers lecture at GMC function
Srinagar, May 11: The Medical Education Unit (MEU), Government Medical College, Srinagar organized a guest lecture on “Roles and responsibilities of medical education units” while a medico from AIIMS delivered a lecture on the occasion.
Dr S Muhammad Salim Khan, Assistant Professor Community Medicine and Member MEU while delivering welcome address emphasized on faculty development by acquiring newer teaching and evaluation skills.
The GMC Principal Prof Qazi Masood Ahmad in his presidential address discussed the “need and development of medical education unit in GMC Srinagar.”
Prof KK Deepak from Centre for Medical Education and Technology, AIIMS, New Delhi delivered “the guest lecture and in his PowerPoint presentation deliberated at length the requirement and functions of MEU and future strategies.”
“Question answer interaction session followed with inputs from Prof Rafiq Ahmad, HOD ENT and Chairman CASS Union, GMC Srinagar, Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan, Dr Tariq Qureshi, Dr Mufti Mehmood and Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Chalkoo, Dr Suhail Ahmad, Lecturer Physiology and member MEU gave the vote of thanks.
