Strange statement

The statement issued by Abdul Gani Bhat regarding the irrelevance of UN resolutions on Kashmir is quite strange and absurd. UN resolutions on Kashmir provide a guiding principle for long lasting solution to Kashmir issue. These resolutions bind both India and Pakistan to address the aspirations of Kashmiris. Prof. Bhat should re-read the genesis of Kashmir issue. And he should be cautious and respect the sacrifice and sentiments of the bruised and oppressed people of Kashmir.
