13 RR organises youth mela

Srinagar, May 12: A youth mela was organised by 13 RR (KUMAON) at Safapora near Manasbal lake in Ganderbal district.
 In a statement, a spokesman of 13 RR said, “the aim of the Mela was to showcase the multiple facets of the Army to the local people and also to generate interest among the youth of the Ganderbal and Bandipora district.”
 “The mela was provided a noble theme of Say No to Drugs and Save Girl Child which was depicted through skit enacted by the locals and also publicized through an anti-drug rally,” the statement added.
