2 operation centres to be set up

Srinagar, May 12: A meeting in connection with overcome the problems created during any natural calamity and management disasters and to discuss the issues and mechanism for saving the precious lives and property was held here today under the Chairmanship of Member, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Government of India, Dr. Muzaffar Ahmad.
 The meeting discussed about the precautionary measures to be taken to meet any possible disaster caused by natural calamity or manmade disasters.
The member asked the Civil Defence officials to act on instructions of Disaster Authority and also stressed for speed up other works for preparedness of meeting the challenges of any natural calamity. He asked the Disaster Management Committee members to utilize the services of the trained people so that the precious lives and other valuable property can be saved without any hurdle. He also asked the Director Health Services for establishing of two operation centres on modern lines so that any emergency cases both the centres can provide better services to the victims.
