22 INJURED IN DODA MISHAP

Jammu, May 14: At least 22 persons were injured when a mini bus they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge in Assar area of Doda district Monday afternoon.
 The bus driver lost control over the wheels and the bus carrying passengers turned turtle and fell into the gorge, injuring 22 passengers, police said.
 Three critically injured were airlifted to GMC hospital in Jammu while 16 have been admitted to Community Health Centre at Assar and three to Doda hospital.
MYSTERY SHROUDS GIRL’S DEATH
 A 16-year-old girl was found dead today under suspicious circumstances in Jammu’s Rajouri district, police said.
 Body of Billo was found hanging from ceiling of her house in Traru village of Rajouri.
 In a similar incident, body of a 34-year-old man was found in Samba district today. Kuldeep Raj was found dead in Gagwal area of Samba, police said, adding that circumstances leading to his death were also not known immediately.
BLAZE IN JAMMU MAIL
 A minor fire broke out in a coach of a passenger train on Jammu-Pathankote railway station in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said here today.
 The blaze occurred on Hiranagar-Kathua stretch when a passenger threw a cigarette in the coach of Delhi-bound Jammu Mail last night.
 The fire was doused after the train was stopped for a brief period. The train continued for its forward journey late night, they said. There was no major loss reported in the fire incident, they said.
