Ensure full security for Amarnath pilgrims: DGP
Jammu, May 15: Reviewing security for Amarnath pilgrimage, DGP Kuldeep Khoda today asked officers to maintain an offensive approach in counter-insurgency operations and ensure no laxity is shown at any level.
Chaired by the DGP, a meeting was conducted at Police Control Room (PCR) here this evening to review the security arrangements of Jammu Police in general and for smooth conduct of Amarnath Yatra in particular.
"Public interest and welfare should be kept high on mind while performing security and law and order duties and it should be ensured that no laxity of any kind is shown at any level", Khoda said.
