16 WOUNDED IN MISHAPS

Doda/Jammu, May 16: Sixteen persons were wounded in separate mishaps across the Jammu division.
At least 10 persons were injured when a Tempo traveller plunged into deep gorge in Balgran area of Doda district, Wednesday morning.
As per reports the vehicle was on its way from Marmat to Doda when it skidded off the road and plunged into deep gorge at 7:30 am.
The injured have been identified as Tulsi Devi (40) wife of Ajeet Andotra of Goha, Ajeet Andotra (43) son of Jagdish Lal of Goha, Muhammad Riaz (25) son of Manzoor Ahmed, Bharat Singh (50) son of Panshee Singh of Barli Marmat, Muhammad Ashraf (40) son of Fatta Ali Batt, Jan Muhammad (60) son of Sadruddin Dar of Narnu Bhaderwah, Sham Lal (35) son of Dhani Ram of Rekha Bang Marmat, Hidayatullah (30) son of Alab Din of Sarak Marmat, Irfan Ahmed (30) son of Shamas-ud-Din resident of Prabal Marmat and Muhammad Amin (24) son of Muhammad Sharief resident of Gittar Assar.
Meanwhile, six persons were injured in two separate road mishaps across Jammu, police sources said.
They said that four persons were injured when a Tavera vehicle rolled down in Samroli area falling under police station Kud. The passerby immediately started the rescue operation and also informed the police, who shifted the injured to nearby hospital. Later on the doctors shifted all the injured to Government Medical College Jammu.
The injured have been identified as Shahid son of Khursheed, Azhar Ahmed son of Muhammad Razak, Muhammad Hanief son of Ghulam Qadir and Muhammad Imran son of Ghulam Qadir all residents of Doda.
Moreover two persons were injured when then were hit by a speedy matador in Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu city, this morning, police sources said.
The injured were shifted to GMC and have been identified as Swarno Devi (65) wife of Tej Ram and Ravinder Chander son of Tej Ram of Gangyal.
