BJP for CBI probe

Jammu, May 1:  The BJP today sought a probe by an independent agency or CBI claiming as `inconclusive' the post-mortem report of  NC worker Syed Yusuf citing cardiovascular arrest as the cause of his death.
"The cause of death as cardiovascular arrest is itself inconclusive because scientifically and medically speaking, cardiovascular arrest is a terminal event in any impending or imminent mortality, it is a sequel and not per se cause, like disease or assault, culminating in death", BJP spokesman Jitender Singh told reporters here.
Singh replying to questions about the clean chit given to the Chief Minister and his aides in the Syed Yusuf case by a Magisterial probe, said, "It is a rule of justice across the world that an investigation does not carry credibility if it is conducted by an agency which is subordinate to or obliged to the individuals against whom the enquiry is being conducted".
