Dog terror

This refers to the article "Leashing the Beast" (GK, April 26). The menace of street dogs is actually the wrong interpretation of law. The overpopulation of street dogs has put the human lives at great danger, especially that of children and womenfolk. The government agencies like SMC are in deep slumber. SMC is pleading for a costly and time consuming sterilization process as the sole solution to this dog menace. The citizens of valley are at the mercy of one lakh dogs. The menace has reached to the level of calling it dog terrorism.
