Adhoc policy

This refers to the news regarding the chaos and gross maladministration in the Associated Hospitals of GMC Srinagar. This grave problem of poor functioning of majority of hospitals in Srinagar is primarily due to the adhoc/stopgap policy of placing HoDs or senior faculty members of various clinical departments as Medical Superintendents. When it comes to clinical, operative and hospital administrative work, they are bound to inexperienced and inefficient.
