Employees strike
The frequent strikes of employees over 6th Pay Commission are justified on certain fronts, while it’s unjustified on certain others. They are justified in seeking their arrears, which might address many of the problems they face at the moment. Certainly the government should release their dues at the earliest. But the demand regarding increase in the retirement age is totally unjust as this move will certainly block the opportunities for so many unemployed youth. I don’t know what the employees' leaders think about their children when they aren’t ready to leave space for their siblings. The government and the employee leaders need to think over this matter and work out a reasonable solution to the problem.
