Kulgam Thang-Ta Championship concludes

Srinagar, May 21: The two-day district Thang-Ta championship concluded at Middle School Nowpora, Kharpora, Kulgam on Saturday.
 In the event around 200 participants participated and it was organized by District Kulgam Thang-Ta Association and sponsored by J&K State Sports Council.
 In sub-junior boys 29 kilogram category, Aqib Ahmad, Zahid Rashid and Umar Bashir bagged first three positions respectively while as in sub-junior boys 33-kilogram category Aqib Ahmad Wani, Athar Shaban and Nadeem Ahmad bagged first three positions respectively.
 In sub-junior girls 29-kilogram category, Iqra Jan, Saima Jan and Khushboo Jan bagged first, second and third positions respectively while as in sub-junior girls 41-kilogram category, Nisha Jan, Bisma Jan and Hina Jan bagged first three positions respectively.
 In sub-junior boys 41-kilogram category, Adil Bashir, Masroor Ahmad Dar and Shoaib Ahmad bagged first three positions respectively while as senoir boys 50-kilogram category, Junaid Ahmad, Muzafar Salam and Imtiyaz Ahmad bagged first three places respectively.
 In junior boy’s 56-kilogram category, Yawar Ahmad, Zahid Ahmad and Shahid Ahmad bagged first three positions respectively while as junior boy’s 60-kilogram category Umar Altaf, Fasal Bashir and Amir Suhail bagged first three positions respectively.
