Traffic signals in Jammu soon: Sagar

Jammu, May 21: The traffic signals would be soon installed at 30 important crossings in the Jammu city for the better management of the vehicular movement in the winter Capital.
 This was stated by Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Ali Muhammad Sagar, who is here on the rotational weeklong tour to attend the Jammu Summer Secretariat.
 The minister asked the concerned to expedite the trial and make sure that the system was made functional at an earliest. He said the electronic traffic regulation system has already been started in summer capital as the same has become imperative to cope with the increasing traffic rush in the twin capitals.
 The Minister was chairing a meeting of Divisional Level Officers here today to review the delivery of public services, pace on the ongoing developmental and civic works besides, general law and order situation in Jammu region.
 Sagar, had a detailed review of essential services, including power, water and other civic amenities, besides various issues concerning to the people of the region.
