Delhi CM visits Jammu;dedicates park to people
Jammu, May 24: Delhi Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit visited winter capital of the state, here on Tuesday.
Accompanied by Chairman J&K Dharmarth Trust Council and Rajya Sabha Member (MP) Dr Karan Singh, the Delhi CM dedicated `Yasho-Karan Park’ to the people.
The park has been beautifully developed on sprawling area of about eight kanals of land with the facilities of illumination, seating, landscaping and drinking water.
An attractive fountain especially imported from Rajasthan has been installed in the park which symbolically shown flowing through thick locks of lord Shiva.
Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma, MLC Vijay Bakaya, Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh, President Dharmarth Trust Thakur Diwakar Singh, Maj Gen. (Retd.) Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Joint Director Information Soujanya Sharma, Senior Advocate Mr. D C Raina, Ex-Deputy Mayor Rani Bloeria, Secretary Dharamarth Trust Shashi Khajuria besides prominent personalities and people in large numbers were present on the occasion.
