Gul dedicates playground to Noorbagh people
Says Peace Prerequisite For Prosperous J&K
Srinagar, May 25: Asserting that peace is prerequisite for all round development of the State, the Advisor to Chief Minister Mubark Gul has said that government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has taken several bold and historical steps for permanent peace and prosperity of the State, which have yielded fruitful results at grass root level.
Addressing a public gathering at playground Noorbagh after dedicating the playfield in the area, the advisor called upon the people to ensure their whole hearted cooperation to the government for bringing the state on the new horizons of development.
Gul said sports are playing pivotal role in building well physique and announced Rs. 25 lakh for development of play ground at Noorbagh. He said Rs. 25 lakh have been spent already on its development.
The Advisor said that government has taken up several welfare schemes for upliftment of poor and called upon people to come forward and take full benefits by these schemes. Under these schemes, he said, the un-employed youth as well as artisans would get lucrative incentivesincluding soft loans and advances for setting up their income generating units.
