Year on, Osmania Colony craves for road repairs

SYED IMRAN ALI HAMDANI

Srinagar, May 25: For the past over a year, Osmania Colony Bemina near Government Residential Quarters has been facing inconvenience since a drain was constructed in the area but the road wasn’t repaired.
The Intizaamiya Committee Masjid -e-Noor Hanafiya members said they moved from pillar to post seeking the repairs but to no avail.
Presently the residents said roads were being repaired in the nearby colonies but not at Osmania Colony.
“If repairs are taking place in the adjacent colony, why should we be ignored?” the Masjid Intaazimaya people argued.
They appealed the Chief Engineer Roads and Building department, Mushtaq Ahmed Lone and the MLA Batamaloo Irfan Shah to personally look into the matter and get the roads repaired.
