Div Com interacts with special children at Chotay Taaray
Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon today interacted with special children at Chotay Taaray Foundation at Rajbagh.
He also enquired about the problems being faced by them. Dr Samoon sanctioned an amount of Rs 10,000 out of Regional Red Cross funds for the organisation and gave instructions to the Health department and Government Medical College Srinagar to organise a free medical checkup of all the children in the special school on June 8;
He further instructed Secretary Red Cross Abdul Jabbar Chakkat to provide free medicines to the children. He also instructed Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Baseer Ahmed Khan to look into the possibility of providing land or accommodation to the organization.
Earlier the Director of the foundation Arjumand Makhdoomi welcomed the dignitary.
