Kupwara Kings beat Lolab Lions in final
KUPWARA PREMIER LEAGUE CONCLUDES
Srinagar, May 27: The Kupwara Premiere League concluded with final of Vajr Cup played at the Nutnusa Higher secondary school ground on Saturday.
Kupwara Kings won the toss and elected to bat. They set massive target of 174 runs for Lolab Lions.
Lolab Lions put up a spectacular display however, were no match for Kupwara Kings. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Their inning was wrapped up for 139 runs.
Kupwara Premier League had commenced on May 15 and in it eight teams from Tangdhar to Lolab and Machal to Handwara participated..
The Maj Gen L K Pandey , General Officer Commanding Vajr Division, Brig AK Channan, Commander Thunderbolt Brigade and Commanding Officers of various units were among the glitterati who attended the finals.
