TRCF demands factual portrayal of Gujjar history
Srinagar, May 27: The Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation (TRCF) a frontal organization of Gujjars today appealed the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development to include ‘Gujjar Pritihara Period’ in curriculum books of History in the Country.
In a letter to Kapil Sibal the Union Minister for Human Resources Development, Dr Javaid Rahi secretary Tribal Foundation expressed strong resentment against “concealing” of significant details of the Gujjar Era’ in new books of History published by UGC and State Boards of School Education including the main body NCERT.
In the letter sent through the TRCF, Rahi demanded portraying accurate and factual picture of the Gujjar Era’ in all books of History.
