Srinagar, May 28: For females particularly fabric shoppers in city, shopping now has become more easy, as they got new address for shopping- Roshan’s – a fabric collection at Sarah City Centre here.
A unique showroom housed inside state- of –art, Sarah City Mall is these days catching attention of each and every person visiting this mall.
Owned by a woman proprietor, Roshan Ara who has high hopes from this showroom believes she can provide better fabric and new designs to women folk.
“My showroom is exclusive for women, where only female employees have been recruited so that customers coming here don’t feel any inconvenience,” Roshan said adding that its her bid to promote women in the society by giving them employment in her showroom .
“I have chosen fabric and suits from different markets in and outside the country. My aim is to provide best quality material to my customers,” she said
“I have brought Karachi suits from Pakistan, Gurjari suits from Kuch Gujarat which are 100 percent pure cotton , party wear suits and other designer suits designed by prominent designers,” Roshan said who was ex- tourism officer.
“We also sell handicraft items in the showroom and we have devised a policy that we will only sell Kashmiri handicraft items,” she said adding that in the showroom every Kashmiri handicraft from embroidery to pashmina items are available within reasonable rates.
“I have made it a motto that the price which I will charge to tourists would be same for locals also,” she said.
“In future we will introduce designer shoes, bags and other items for women exclusive, so that it will be all- in -one showroom, where our customers don’t need to wander from one shop to other. We will be providing them all the items under one roof,” Roshan said adding our products are affordable and within the reach of middle class section of society.
On customer response, Roshan said: “We have inaugurated this showroom few days ago, but the response from the customers has been tremendous. It has also to do with the location of the showroom. It is situated in the state’s beautiful Mall and also there is a hotel on the upper floor of the mall, so tourists in the hotel also come here and shop.”
