Dr Kak awarded prestigious research project

Srinagar, May 2: Ministry of Environment and Forest, Government of India New Delhi, has awarded a major research project pertaining to lakes and wetlands of Kashmir to the Valley’s noted environmentalist Dr A Majeed Kak.
 The project to be completed in three years, will help to ascertain problems confronting the preservation of environment and planning process. Presently Dr. Kak is working as a Research Coordinator in Islamia College, Srinagar.
