KHAROF seeks uninterrupted power supply at tourist spots
Srinagar, May 2: A delegation of Kashmir Hotel and Restaurant Owners’ Federation (KHAROF) led by its president, Faiz Ahmad Bakhsi today held a meeting with Chief Engineer, M&RE, Muzaffer H Mattoo.
The delegation discussed the present position of power supply at tourist areas with large concentration of hotels, guesthouses and restaurants, a statement here said.
“The CE was requested to ensure uninterrupted Power supply to these areas especially Boulevard and adjoining areas of Kohna Khan, Residency Road, Raj Bagh, Sonwar, Indra Nagar, etc,” it said. The CE was requested to provide “dedicated lines to hotels.”
