Protest disallowed

 This refers to the news, “Govt disallows protest against dog menace” (GK, March 1).At a time when canines are attacking our innocent kids and womenfolk on a daily basis, the authorities disallowed the civil society activists from staging a protest against this dreaded dog menace. Now authorities are using force so that no one could be allowed to stage a protest against the dog menace. It seems that we live in an Andher Nagri where dogs can maul us but we can’t even stage a protest against them.
