SDEU seeks V-C’s intervention

ENCROACHMENT OF SDA LAND

Srinagar, May 29: Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) Employees Union (SDAEU) have urged the Vice-Chairman Khawaja Farooq RenzuShah to get 5 kanals and 5 marlas of land vacated from the illegal occupants at SDA Employees Colony Bemina.
 In a statement issued here today, SDAEU has said that these illegal occupants have already been issued notice by the Director Land Management, SDA to vacate the occupation. However, the occupants continue to hold on to the SDA land illegally in contravention of the court orders, the statement said and alleged that the occupants even manhandled the SDA employees recently who had gone there to resume possession of the land.
 The SDEU has now sought the intervention of VC to get the possession of the land restored to its legal allottees.
