Makeshift stalls create chaos on The Boulevard: CCIK
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, May 3: The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir (CCIK) today expressed its concern over what it said the growing number of roadside makeshift stalls around The Boulevard here.
President CCIK, Muhammad Afzal Parray said that makeshift stalls on The Boulevard create unhygienic conditions and traffic jams at the tourist hub. He said these stalls are creating chaos on The Boulevard.
“Even unregistered stalls and unlicensed food courts are allowed to function along the road,” Parray said.
He said at some stalls the music remains so high pitched that it creates pollution in the area and inconvenience to the passers-by.
“We appeal to the government to initiate action in this regard,” he said.
