Prof Agha delivers lecture at Central University Kashmir

Srinagar, May 4: Chairman, Department of Finance and Operations Research, University of Massachusetts, USA, Prof Agha Iqbal Ali today delivered an extension lecture to the students of MBA at Central University of Kashmir.
He deliberated on “Business Process Optimization and Supply Chain Management”.
Prof Agha highlighted the importance of appropriate business process modelling for optimization and effective utilization of business resources in the contemporary challenging business scenario, the varsity in a statement said.
The students of MBA programme interacted with the speaker on various issues confronting the industrial world in the present age of scarce resources.
Welcoming Prof Agha, Head Department of Management Studies, Dr Farooq Ahamd Shah expressed hope that such kind of interactions shall open new vistas of academic collaboration among the institutions of higher learning at the global level.
The guest also called upon the Vice Chancellor, Prof Abdul Wahid Qureshi and the Registrar, Dr Abdul Gani.
During the course of meeting, the need to develop synergies for achieving academic alliance between the two Universities was stressed upon.
The technical session was moderated by Dr Fayyaz Ahmad Nika and Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Lone presented vote of thanks.
