Degree College Anantnag organises annual race
Anantnag, May 5: The Anantnag Degree College organized its Annual Road Race today. The race was flagged off jointly by DIG, South Kashmir, Principal and Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag at the College gate.
The race culminated at Bumzoo after covering a distance of 10 kms. More than 100 students participated in the event. The first three positions were secured by Sajad Hussain Dar 2nd year, Junaid Rafiq Dar 2nd Year and Ishfaq Maqbool Ganie 1st Year respectively. Later on the position holders were honoured in the college campus by DIG South Kashmir, Vijay Kumar in the prize distribution ceremony.
The college authorities appreciated the DIG South Kashmir, SHO Anantnag, SHO Mattan, CMO Anantnag and people from media for providing excellent support in making the event a success.
