GDC Pulwama organises Marathon race

Pulwama May 5: A marathon race was organized on Saturday by Degree College Pulwama authorities from Murran Chowk here to Kakapora main chowk in which dozens of students of the college took part.
 The race started at 5:30 in the morning and ended at about 7 A.M., in which  40 students of the college took part. On this occasion district administration and district police including senior college faculty had made good arrangements for the race, keeping available drinking water and ambulance.
 Mehraj-u-din Ganie of 1st year got the first position, followed by Muzzaqfar Dar of third year and Muhammad Yaseen Dar of first year. The  first three winners were given awards by the college authorities in presence of  district sports authorities members.
 On this occasion principal GDC Pulwama said that the aim of the event was to provide platform to good athletes to prove their talent in sports.
