Landslides in Pulwama, locals evacuated
Srinagar: Massive landslides struck a village in south Kashmir's Pulwama district, prompting police to evacuate several families to safer places, officials said today.
The landslides hit village Munkhud-Branpathri, 45-km from here, on the foothills of Pir Panjal range yesterday causing panic among locals.
No one was, however, hurt, they said adding a few houses developed cracks, the officials said. Over a dozen families were shifted to safer places as a precautionary measure, they said. PTI
