Shah-i-Hamdan Educational Institute Bemina organizes cross- country run
Srinagar, May 5: Shah-i-Hamdan Educational institute Bemina organized second cross –country run for boys and girls from Garipora Bemina to Sebdan on Saturday.
The run was flagged off by the Principal of the school, Aijaz Ahmad Baba. About 200 students participated in the run. Tanzeel Majeed , Suhail Ahmad and Amjad Ali finished as first, second and third among boys. Asiya , Rukhsana and Zareefa finished as first , second and third among girls.
Apart from these, Tawfeeq, Zeeshan, Saima, Farhana and Maneesa were also awarded for their high performance.
Highlighting the importance of the sports activities and their need to overcome the mental depression of the valley students, the principal of the school announced to hold the sports week of the year from May 11 to 18.
