Taxi services to Gulmarg resumes
Srinagar, May 5: Kashmir Tourist Taxi Transporters Federation Saturday resumed services to Gulmarg. The federation in a statement said the taxi service was resumed to Gulmarg after assurance by some traders’ organizations that they would take up the issue with the government for construction of budgeted accommodation for the taxi operators at the tourist places.Pertinently, the operators remained on strike for 3 days following the death of Bashir Ahmad, a taxi operator, who died due to cold weather conditions at Gulmarg.
