Police playing bigger role: DGP
Srinagar, May 6: The Director General of Police (DGP) Kuldeep Khoda on Sunday said that JK Police has been playing a bigger role to maintain law and order and ensure security of the people of the state.
Addressing the newly recruited constables at Bakhshi Stadium here Khoda said, “Besides professional policing the organization is sharing its responsibilities in other fields effectively and the people of the state are whole-heartedly cooperating with it to redress the problems faced by them while carrying out their day-to-day activities. Police-Public relations have improved considerably and the people have been very cooperative in tackling the criminals and other social evils.” (KNS)
