JKFA announces Santosh trophy team

Srinagar, May 7: The J&K Football Association on Monday announced the state football team that will represent JK in 66th national football championship for Santosh Trophy.
 The team was announced by JKFA in presence of secretary J&K State Sports Council, Kiran Wattal at Polo ground here.
 The squad is of 20 players who were short listed from 24 probable. Team will be lead by Mansoor Yousuf of JK Forest while Asif Majeed would be his deputy.
 The Santosh trophy for national football championship is scheduled to be held in Traphu Cuttack Odhissa from May 10. JK would be playing its first match against Arunachal Pradesh on May 13 and second on May 15 against Maharashtra.
 The Association has appointed JK Police coach, Ranjit Singh as the coach of team while first International footballer of State Muhammad Shafi Nari has been appointed as manager. Ashiq Hussain has been appointed as Physiotherapist.
