LD road shopkeepers to be rehabilitated: Div Com

Srinagar, May 7: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon alongwith Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Baseer Ahmed Khan reviewed the progress of the multi-storied new hospital building coming up at Lal Ded Hospital.
 Dr Samoon directed for “rehabilitation of the shopkeepers that are getting displaced due to the road new construction.”
 He, as per an official handout,  asked JKPCC and R&B to construct a shopping complex in the land acquired and the affected shopkeepers would be asked to deposit Rs. 2 lakhs per shop and the funds would be utilised for the construction purposes to rehabilitate the shopkeepers.
