Northern Command Chief visits LoC

Jammu, May 7: Northern Command Chief Lt Gen K T Parnaik today visited the Line of Control (LoC) in northern Kashmir and reviewed operational preparedness.
 Lt Gen Parnaik was accompanied by General Officer Commanding (GOC), Chinar Corps, Lt Gen S A Hasnain, during his visit to the LoC in Kupwara sector, said a spokesman of the Northern Command.
 He was briefed on operational preparedness and the situation on the Line of Control by GOC, Chinar Corps.
 Lt Gen Parnaik also interacted with soldiers deployed on the Line of Control in high altitude areas, the spokesman said.
