Science subject

In the recent years the enrollment of students in science stream has decreased. One can find thousands of students opting for Arts subjects in colleges. The students seem to be in no mood to opt for science stream in their graduation, and find it easier to complete graduation in other streams. If this trend continues, in the coming years we will have less number of graduates with science subjects. Enrollment in medical stream is on the decline as well. Science graduates and post graduates should be encouraged to pursue research programs.  The government should establish research institutes in the valley on the pattern of   IISC Bangalore, CDFD Hyderabad so that the research activities can be at par with these institutes.
