Speaker inspects LA sections
Srinagar, May 7: Speaker, Legislative Assembly Muhammad Akbar Lone inspected various sections of Assembly Secretariat and took stock of functioning of various units after reopening of offices at Summer Secretariat here today.
He also enquired about the welfare of employees working in Assembly Secretariat especially Jammu based officials.
During the visit, the Speaker was apprised about the working of various House Committees. He directed the Secretary, Assembly M. Ramzan to ensure the working and action taken reports of all House Committees in a time bound manner.
The speaker called upon the employees to work with utmost zeal, dedication and speedy disposal of Assembly Business and public interest matters. He asked the concerned to enquire from the government quarters for follow up action of last year’s report of Assurance Committee within one month. He also directed them for asking the Tourism Department to install sceneries in the Assembly complex.
