Summer Secretariat starts functioning at Jammu

Jammu: In order to address public grievances, Government has established Summer Secretariat at Jammu as per past practice.
 To start with, the Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand formally kick-started the Summer Secretariat working, here today.
 The Deputy CM met various delegations who had called on him to project problems of their respective areas.
 While addressing the delegations, the Deputy CM said the objective of the Summer Secretariat in Jammu is to bring the administration more close to the people and facilitate effective redressal of their problems while Durbar has moved to its summer location at Srinagar.
 He said every week a Minister would be available to listen to the public grievances in the Civil Secretariat at Jammu.
