GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, May 8: National Conference on Tuesday accused centre of committing continuous political blunders by ignoring people’s democratic aspirations, disregarding autonomy and by offering occasional doles.
While interacting with youth from Srinagar, Shangus, Wachi, Ganderbal, Beerwah, Pampore, Pattan and Pahlagam, who expressed their desire to join National Conference, at the party headquarters here the NC spokesman Tanvir Sadiq said that every political leader of the state should sit up and take notice that the youth have taken part in every happenings in the state particularly Kashmir. “The young boys of today have been brought up seeing death, destruction, violence, and political chicanery and it now becomes our obligation to make sure the talent of our youth is used in a proper way”.
“With information super highway under their finger tips and the whole world opening before their eyes, there is both hate and anger about what they see around themselves”, Tanvir said. “They need to be shown the direction”.
Welcoming the recent statement of a separatist leader the spokesman said it’s a good step and now everyone understands that Autonomy is the only viable and gettable solution for J&K and now is the right time for the centre to honour its commitment which it made with Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah.
“Everyone has understood the futility of gun; we have been advocating the restoration of autonomy from the day it was snatched from us. It’s encouraging to find even separatist toeing Omar Sahib’s line because even they have understood that the only workable solution for lasting peace is the autonomy which is the only constitutional document approved by the state legislature and is acceptable not only to Kashmir, Jammu but Ladakh also and now it’s the right time for the centre to honour its commitments done with Sheikh Sahib”, adding that “sooner the others understand the better it is for the state.”
Welcoming all these young men to the party fold the spokesman said that the party needs young talent to carry forward the mission of Sheri-Kashmir and ensure that people of the state live with honour and help the NC to restore the autonomy and revoke AFSPA.
“The party and the state needs young men like you to help the party restore autonomy revoke AFSPA and shape the destiny of the state and be the change” said Tanvir adding “Omar Sahib, is committed to restore autonomy, revoke AFSPA very soon and reorganise the youth wing of the party immediately where hard working young talented people will be given important positions and assignments to further strengthen the party, said Tanvir, adding that “Youth have to show their existence and it is a dream of Omar Sahib to ensure that youth are empowered in every way” adding “but young people like you need to know who was behind all those negative decisions right through 1953 and how our autonomy had been eroded”
While assuring the youth that the Government led by the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is trying its level best to provide employment to the youth, Tanvir said “Due to the personal intervention of Omar Sahib, Udaan, SKEWPY, EDI and many programs and schemes have been started” adding that “Private corporate houses have started coming to the state and are investing which will not only boost the economy but will also provide huge employment in the private sector as well” said Tanvir.
