Shabir Shah, Bilal Lone lock horns
Srinagar, May 8: The meeting of the executive members of the Hurriyat Conference (M) ran into rough weather on Tuesday when Shabir Shah and Bilal Gani Lone entered into a heated argument with each other.
Sources told KNS that soon after the members of the executive council assembled to hold discussion over the statement of Professor Abdul Gani Bhat that UN resolutions were not applicable in JK, senior leaders of the conglomerate Shabir Ahmad Shah and Bilal Gani Lone confronted each other. "At the same time, their supporters were raising slogans against each other outside the meeting hall," sources added.
They said that after the heated argument, Shabir Shah wanted to stage a walk out, however Mirwaiz Umar Farooq intervened and pacified the leaders.
