Budgam Police T-20 Cricket Tourney concludes

Srinagar, Nov 9: The T-20 Cricket Tournament organised by District Police Budgam concluded at Sports Stadium Budgam on Friday.
 In the event all the 24 teams from across the District Budgam participated. The final of the tournament was played between MECC Ompora and Humhama Cricket Club. Batting first, Humhama scored 123 runs from 19.4 overs for the loss of all wickets. In reply, MECC Ompora chased the target in the 20th over for the loss of eight wickets. Saleem from MECC Ompora was declared man of the match for excellent bowling. However, man of the series award was given to Zahid of MECC Ompora for his outstanding and all round performance throughout the tournament in both bating and bowling.
 The Budgam Police has been organising several sports events during the recent past.
