Waza welcomes Indo-Pak dialogue process

Srinagar, Nov 9: The Jammu Kashmir Peoples’ League chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza on Friday welcomed ongoing dialogue process between India and Pakistan.
 Addressing a Friday prayer meeting at Shopian, Waza said New Delhi should take peace initiatives before formal dialogue process so that conflict affected people of both sides of state could breathe in a peaceful atmosphere.
 “We have always advocated a result oriented dialogue process with the inclusion of Kashmir genuine leadership representing aspirations of people at Large. However, the dialogue process can’t yield fruits until New Delhi takes peace initiatives in the state. Dialogue and human rights violations can’t go side by side. So first of all New Delhi should make atmosphere appropriate for dialogue process, that would turn it result oriented,” Waza said.
