Islamic University gets JK Bank Extension Counter

Srinagar, Nov 10: With a view to facilitate easy and hassle-free banking to the students, scholars and other staff, J&K Bank opened an Extension Counter in the premises of Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST).
Vice Chancellor IUST Dr A R Traag inaugurated the counter on Friday in presence of Bank’s Zonal Head Kashmir (South) Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, Registrar IUST, faculty members, students and senior officers of the Bank.
Thanking the Bank for opening of the counter at IUST, the VC said, “We express our gratitude towards the institution which has made all of us proud and has served the interest of people of J&K well throughout its illustrious journey since 1939.”
The Bank has made tremendous progress since last few years “because of its committed staff, seriousness of purpose, competence and sincerity,” he added.
He said that from economic empowerment to the social commitments, “the Bank has distinguished itself as a remarkable institution that continues to grow and flourish across the country.”
