SAC lists case for hearing on December 4

Srinagar, Nov 12: The State Accountability Commission has listed a case of alleged misuse of official position by four state politicians including two sitting ministers for hearing on December 3.
The politicians include Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, PHE Minister, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, Member Parliament, Lal Singh and former R&B Minister, GM Saroori. Besides, from former Managing Director of Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC), Dileep Thusoo is also one of the accused in a separate case.
They have been accused of being involved in land grab and embezzlement of public money. Asif Ahmad Bhat pleading the case on behalf of the complainant Saquib Mushtaq of Qamarwari said the case was listed for today.
He said however the chairman SAC was not available today. Besides he said another member of the Commission was also not present.
The SAC has now listed the case for hearing on December 3.
