DFP reacts to Mirwaiz’s statement
Srinagar, Nov 13: Reacting to that Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s statement that Shabir Ahmad Shah was in know of amalgam members’ visit to New Delhi, the Democratic Freedom Party on Tuesday termed it a ‘blatant lie.’
“To say and portray that the DFP chairman was informed about the Delhi visit is not true. What the DFP had proposed in the executive meeting is that the Hurriyat should delay the Pakistan visit for sometime as Pakistan will be engaged in the elections. It was also said that Hurriyat should first set its house in order and then decide on the Pak visit," a spokesman of the DFP in a statement, adding that “From DFP's side the last meeting of the amalgam was attended by Muhammad Abdullah Tari.
