Mukhtar’s photo gallery fascinates people in Delhi
Admirers plan trip to Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 14: Renowned landscape photographer Mukhtar Ahmed continues to mesmerize audiences through his pictures on Kashmir.
For now this lenseman is going hot favourite in New Delhi with people making it to his gallery; Impressed, many of them end up planning a trip to Kashmir.
Hira Mani of south Delhi didn’t mind driving from his south Delhi home to ‘Moments Mall’ in north Delhi where the gallery, a part of 10-day Silk Route Mega Show, is going on.
Mani said he was so amazed to see the pictures that he has planned a trip to Kashmir in coming months when the Valley is expected to be snow clad.
Many like Mani have found the photographs amazing. “Kashmir looks fascinating in every season. This is what his photographs do convey,” Anjana, a house wife talking to Greater Kashmir on phone from the capital said.
Babar, the event organizer, said Silk Route Mega Show aims to improve people-to-people contact.
He acknowledged that the Mukhtar’s gallery remained a key attraction at the event which also hosted musical concerts and other entertaining attractions.
Mukhtar, the photographer in is 50s, is a hot favourite with various private and government organizations when it comes to have an annual calendar showcasing Kashmir, while some of his creations grace the walls of Bollywood celebrity villas.
When contacted Mukhtar said he would continue to project Kashmir in his calendars whether his clients happen to be from Kashmir or elsewhere, world over.
He said many multinational companies have approached him to get pictures for their new year calendar.
