Children's Day celebrated
Srinagar, Nov 15: To sensitize the people about welfare of the children in need of care and protection, a rally was today organized from D.C Office Srinagar to Jehangir Chowk.
The rally organized by the ‘Childline Srinagar’ in collaboration with various Government departments was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Baseer Ahmad Khan.
Childline Srinagar has Childline 1098 Service, which is a 24 hour toll free tele-out reach helpline for children in need of care and protection. The campaign aims at sensitizing the mass about the children in need of care and protection and involves community in activities to get their participation in Child Rights.
