Farooq Ganderbali joins National Conference

Srinagar, Nov 15: Farooq Ganderbali, who had contested the 2008 Jammu and Kashmir Assembly election against Chief Minister Omar Abdullah as a National Panthers Party candidate, has joined the ruling National Conference.
Ganderbali along with his supporters, including 28 Sarpanchs and Panchs, joined NC in presence of Omar, who is also the working president of the party.
Welcoming him, Omar suggested that he should work for strengthening the party base and making the government's programmes a success.
“I have joined NC since it is the traditional political party of the state and led by the visionary leaders like Omar Abdullah. I had some misunderstanding with the NC, but these have been cleared now,” Ganderbali told reporters.
